If the Cubs can continue to keep contributing the Reds charity runs fund, and the Reds win today, they can claim success with a .500 road trip... no problem... unless it takes 95 wins to get to the playoffs (there aren't enough bad teams to
win that many) and of course, the charity usually stops in the playoffs.

Gotta agree on the charity. Need to win 16 games a month and we're one behind schedule. Edwin Jackson has truly sucked half the time. The other half, the rest of the team is still the Cubs. Can't groove the ball to .220 hitters, though.

All that analysis down the toilet, here's to a big day for Jay Bruce. I have been all over this turkey for weeks and have been politely wrong about everything since Thursday.

Bruce owes me one.
