Not technically a song, since there are no lyrics, but Schumann's 1st Symphony
was named "Spring" by the composer himself.

I've got a CD of it in my apartment, and may just play it now since it's been a while since my last
time around with it.

Nice to see another orchestral music fan around here.

Has nobody beaten me to "Winter Wonderland?"

I love that Vivaldi concerto....my mom was an avid classical music and opera aficionada.

Here's a somewhat somber but beautiful piece by P.I.T.

Another orchestral piece, Aaron Copeland's "Appalachian Spring."

My father was the opera fan in my family. I do like some opera, but think too many sopranos are more interested in showing their high notes than anything else.

Simon and Garfunkel - parsley sage rosemary and thymes.
It mentions four seasons.

My dad was into jazz, blues and big band stuff....so that along w/my mom's tastes more or less shaped my appreciation and love for all music.

Nice cover version but I still like the S. & G. original much more...

Looking back, I know some people used to snicker at that show.....but there was always something worthy of listening to...and had some solid levels....be it, polka, show tunes/broadway, or vocal groups doing pop renditions of classics.
