Is it a matter of time before Marte takes over for Tabata?

Lots of guys to have an eye on, big time change from recent years. Actual prospects.

I've seen a couple of tweets and some blog posts about Alen Hanson from the prospect guys, people like him a lot from a scouting perspective, and he seems to be performing so far.

If Jarek Cunningham keeps his k's down, as he has done so far, he is a future regular for the team somewhere.

Probably the two guys I'm most interested in other than the obvious.

Over/under on Clement forgetting how to be a competent hitter?

I give him 5 games.

You're probably right, but I wouldn't be shocked if Clement figured a little bit out, and was able to put up a Garrett Jones like slash line.

I think Clement's ceiling is as another Garret Jones - except he hasn't hit 10 homeruns in 10 games yet. (or whatever ridiculous tear Jones went on when he first got a shot - I forget)

Clement's problem has never really been his bat, his struggles with the bat can be attributed to a multitude of other things like injuries or position changes. He is old, but could still be intriguing.

I have always liked Cunningham, but he is going to strike out a ton, not sure that can be fixed.

One other guy I am interested in is Eric Avila, he needs to put on some weight, but I think he will rebound and have a big season.

Not sure why but still rooting for Brock Holt to make something of himself. Needs to get more gap power. But probably will be no better than a backup middle IF

Me too, but I don't think the OBP holds up against major league pitching.
