Yes CL67. I like the aggressiveness and everyone looks on the same page. This is without Gasol and Kobe. Like I said, I like what I see so far. Second half time.

Yes, CL67. After an ugly third quarter where we went 1-17, the Lakers came back to pull within three at quarter 4 and then they played some great team ball and everybody was playing hard even guys like Marcus Landry and the old guy Dan Gadzuric who had some nice defense and drew some nice fouls. The Lakers took the lead with 6:34 to go in the fourth and never relinquished it.

The guys of the night? Jordon Farmar and Xavier Henry who had 27 points on 9/15 shooting and had that 3/4 three right before the half. Farmar played some great defense and had some nice shots go down. I think Blake and Meeks should be history. You can see the difference when Henry and Farmar are in the backcourt compared to Blake and Meeks. Nick Young played well and Williams played well too. Wesley Johnson had an off night. Sacre played well and I like the attacking the basket mode that was so not here all of last year. Man that was fun to watch.

We are 1-0 and hopefully this will continue tomorrow night. We did have some lapses in defense that allowed Golden State to have 27 fast break points to our 7. We need to shore that up but for a first preseason game that was a little sloopy, I like what I saw.

I agree LA Lakerboy and that is a feat in and of itself. This team looked pretty good tonight!

Yea they look very energetic the guys where running up & down..I love having Farmar back one of my favorite LA natives of all time i have his rookie cards & signed posters i just wish he was still wearing number #5 because i have his old Laker jersey but number #1 is pretty cool:nod:

Nash & Paul back tomorrow I'm exicited that the NBA season is back & we can now just concentrate on basketball now that Dwight Coward is gone

Yes LALakerboy. That cancer is goneso and it shows. If this team stays healthy, they could be really good over time. We will see how they handle back-to-back tomorrow night.

:agree:ABSOLUTELY spot-on. and i'm with you, Steve Blake and Jodie Meeks would be the guys after last night's game that'd be shown the door. but let's see if they can get their act together in tonight's game...

as far as Farmar goes, i always thought that guy was a bit of a disappointment, but ol' earhandles was kinda on his game last night. nice job...

Lots of hate for Blake

I thought Blake played fine. He didn't shoot great but I thought he had good control of the offense. Remember that he shot 42% from deep last season. Blake is a solid b/u.

with the Chiefs possibly blowing it today i could use some Lakers basketball...

The Chiefs got it. Close one. 5-0. You must be happy so far. Gonna be tough to win that division though with how Denver is playing.

I am looking for Farmar to continue his good play and to see how Nash blends in with all of the young backcourt talent we have like Young, and Henry. I want to see how the 3 and 4 play tonight, whomever they are. I see us taking this one as well as long as the defense continues to improve. I want to see how all of the new guys play together and maybe we will get to see Darius Johnson-Odom get some playing time.
