The baby is doing good, thanks... can't believe she's 6 weeks old already! Just wish she could talk already so that she can tell us what the hell is wrong or what she needs instead of just crying for no reason sometimes, but that's asking a bit much, eh? :p

How's SJVP's kid doing? Or who else had another baby, I forget (old age)...

As for Dougie, yeah, I meant to add "is it too early to give Dougie the GM of the year award?" to my post but totally missed out..

Glad you enjoyed Clyde. You should keep trying if you get the chance (assuming you're interested) to keep attending games. It's a great sport to get to know and love and the in-person experience is the best way. While their aren't that many hockey fans (comparitively), their passion is second to none when you meet them.

Hockey is the red-headed stepchild of the (supposed) Big 4 sports.....but it's a great game to get into.

GL to your 49ers this year too.

Their performance in 7 hours will determine if this is a team is a contender or not.

The Sharks have justified our faith in them tonight.
At home, against the hated Stars, with a playoff berth on the line, the Sharks responded with a shutout!
That gives me hope.

Now if the Sharks can do the same on Tuesday, I know I'll be a happy camper.

There's no reason the Sharks can't run the board for their remaining games if they have the will to win. They have the tools to do it. The only reason they don't make the playoffs is if they're not hungry enough.

edit: well actually I haven't been around much this season mostly because of work getting in the way of everything. In the last 6 months alone, I've managed to get engaged, transfer both my fiancee's job and mine across the country (we both work for the same company), buy a house and am now dealing with a crazy woman trying to plan for the wedding in September (on Friday the 13th no less lol).
We made the move from Tampa, FL to Phoenix, AZ in mid January and stayed with my ex of all people while we went house hunting. I'm sure some of you guys will get a laugh over that one.

I was hoping to actually see the Sharks play a few times before the Yotes get moved elsewhere but I was thrown onto the late shift at work which doesn't leave until 10pm and they had a blackout for taking time off until just last Friday so I didn't get to watch a single damn game. I did get to go to one game back in February and was impressed with the arena - much easier to get and out of than what the Bolts had back in Tampa. The parking was even FREE lol and it was literally right outside the arena. As a bonus the random game I decided to go to was $1 dog and beer night so I was sloshed for cheeeeeeeeeeeap. Great time - too bad work gets in the way right?

I know a couple of you posted in regards to me asking for an invite here on the ESPN board but I haven't been on that board in AGES so maybe nobody else has actually posted on there either? Either that or ESPN has incorrect date stamps.
