(Plus if these numbers are accurate -- Boise State needs to seriously get it's shit together academically. It's the largest university in Idaho and there is a lot of wealth in Boise. BSU should be one of the universities in the state and the region. No excuses !!)

Comparing us to the cougs, beavs, and especially Nike U. was good for a predictable laugh. Nike U. has all these Dubai'ish sports facilities thanks to Uncle Phil's wallet, but a diploma from there is still equivalent to toilet paper. Sad.

I got a niece, and a cousin currently in BSU, and a sister that just graduated recently. The professors their treat is like its frickin high school. Its embarrassing to hear some of the stories from them. They are all happy because its easy, but I keep telling them its not supposed to be easy your supposed to get a college education not a high school continuum.
I been thinking about going back to change my career field, but I'm not sure if I want to waste that much money now.

Sad story. A good friend, a long-term BSU professor, is inclined to agree with you. The net: Expectations of the students is low and always met. His kids went out-of-state for their college educations. Good students who did not even consider BSU on account of lousy academics.

And we all know this is not the exception.
