PITB just had a good point about When Henrik Speaks:

Putting Consecutive Losses to Edmonton In Perspective - Orland Kurtenblog

Have faith in Henrik. One of the best stories to emerge this season is how calm, cool and effective a leader Henrik Sedin has become as team captain. His most controversial move of the year was probably when, following an ugly 3-0 loss to Nashville, he said:

"I thought we played our best game in three or four weeks. We had everyone playing our game, we didn't give up much and had a lot of scoring chances.

"If you look at the result, we lost 3-0, you might go home and think we played a bad game, but if we can build on this and play this type of game we are going to score more goals. We know that. I had a lot of chances. Mason [Raymond] hit the crossbar. We could easily have won this game."

He was taken to task (or, twaddle) for those comments, but what transpired following the loss was most intriguing. Vancouver went on to win 12 of its next 13 games and recorded a franchise-best nine game road winning streak along the way, suggesting the captain had a far better read of his team than anyone gave credit for.
