You’re right, and both goalies are about same in the postseason with Oettinger having a slight edge because Dallas has played 2 more games. Georgiev had a .696 SV% in game 1 and yet Oettinger wasn’t much better in Dallas‘ game 1 loss with a .733 as well. Both goalies had a bad game 1 and then played amazing the rest of the series

The Avs scored 28 goals in 5 games against the likely Vezina winner in round 1, what do you think is gonna happen when they face someone who is only slightly better than their own goalie(.905 SV% to their .897)

Not saying Colorado is gonna sweep but all we heard in the Winnipeg series was how great they were defensively and the Avs dominated them, and Dallas is just as strong defensively as the Jets were maybe with a slight edge depending on how worn down Dallas is from their series with Vegas

They should’ve closed the deal sooner. The NHL can’t wait around forever for teams they have a timeframe to keep up on as well.
