There are 6 games in meaning they will have 6 games left given the same production against much better opponents he is still 811 yds short of BJ Simmons.

Same issue here Cooks is not pacing above that he his pacing below that 944 times 2 is not over 2060 it is 1888. I'm beginning to think you cannot do math...

You forgot to include their bowl game. That is 7 games.

Their top RB is behind 215 other RB's for number of rushing attempts, I think I know where those plays are going, right into passing attempts for their QB. Numbers are trending up because OSU just played Colorado and Washington two horrible defenses back to back.

They played Washington State. Not Washington. Comment when you know what you are talking about. Until then, do some research first.

and fyi, Washington's defense isnt horrible. It is actually one of the better defenses in the country.

Back on topic and Mannion...

IF he get any national records, BOORAH for him...he just lit up Wash State's D on the road for Oregon State's single game passing record last week.

Jeppers, the trending is going nowhere but up right now. His #1 target in Cooks may well be the BEST in the nation @ that position.

It will only get tougher for Sean as the weeks go by...after Cal anywhoze. What D ranking are they? 123rd?:laugh3:

What the fuck you say now peepz?

How good of a Coach is Riley? I mean he only gets 3star recruits and JC transfers, a few walkons maybe. His clubs are not going to "ground pound" many of the elite Pac clubs. Our team just doesn't have enough hogs in the middle, especially on defense. He figures out how to mis-direct and gets his speed players to the edges. Hell his O-line is patch work @ best this year and how does he give Mannion enough time to find a soul out in left field? His players love to play for him and he loves to turn his guys loose early-n-often. Not to say his assistant coaches don't play a huge part in stitching these boys into something that can win game, they do.

Cooks can't be doubled up, Mannion just finds the 1-1 matchups elsewhere and lays the ball in right where it needs to be. 1...2...3...4 balls gone and on target about 70% of the time. If Sean any wheels at all, he might just be an all around QB. He is a proto-type pocket passer tho. Who better to teach him than the 2 guys who actually have NFL experience, brief as it was...HC Riley and OC Langendorf

Nevada's Trevor Insley had 2,060 in 1999. Cooks is pacing just above that number.

Inlsey beat me for a 90-something yard reception in HS...later in the game, I improved. He only beat me on some 50 yard TD reception.

That max protect is a crucial element of his success. Dude can make all the throws and Cooks is phenomenal. Utah had a hard time getting to him against max protect and our young secondary were overmatched against cook. IMO, their kryptonite will be a combination of a good pass rush and a shutdown corner.

Mannions looking fantastic. If not for the EWU loss they would be top 15 right now.

Personally I don't think the EWU loss was so terrible considering they are an FCS powerhouse, but oh well. Bad loss is bad loss and it was at Reser.

Will have to see how he does with a much tougher 2nd half of the season. I think he's going to look good the rest of the way.

Ask Michigan how people view losing to a FCS powerhouse.

Why would I need to ask Michigan?

Michigan was a top 5 FBS team when they lost. The Beavers werent.
