This guy is putting up potential NCAA record numbers.
Oregon State's QB is throwing the ball around like I have never seen in the PAC. Reminds me of what Sam Bradford did at Oklahoma. Not saying he is a top NFL pick like Bradford, but he has worked his way into position for winning some awards.
He has a shot at the College Football record for TD passes in a season of 58 by Hawaii's Colt Brennan.
Most likely he will fall short as competition steps up. He has 25 TDs through 6 games. With 7 games remaining he is pacing around 55.
Right now he also has 2511 passing yards as well. Texas Tech's BJ Simmons had 5,833 in 2003. This record is in danger and could be the one that falls.
Considering OSU will not run the ball much the rest of the year because well frankly they cant run the ball, this season will be a historic one for the PAC 12 and Mannion.
Sean Mannion 2013 Statistics
194-289 67.1%
2,511 yards
25 TDs 3 INTs
