Cowboys were outplayed. The fluky TD was a 9 point swing. The safety was not a fluke. Defender knocked the ball out of his hand.

Cowboys will not beat Philly or SF on the road. They are a 500 team away from home.
you're usually better than this. you must likely will be correct if Dallas goes to SF

Looks like it would have counted if the refs didn't mess up. All the penalties were derived from them messing up who was eligible/ineligible.
according to this. 68 was also in the tackle position, which according to what we are reading isnt eligible.

didnt know the center thing. Interesting :suds:
I just say that because it can be any position, so long as they aren’t covered by a teammate to their outside who is on the line.

In an unbalanced line the eligible man on the line can be anyone. So long as they aren’t covered.

That’s the ridiculous thing about 70(skipper) reporting. He was covered by a lineman immediately to his right. So he couldn’t be eligible in any situation.

Decker only reported on account of his number not being eligible. He’s a TE in that formation as much as a T. From my opinion anyway, that Reynolds to his left was off the line.

What a game and what a crazy ass finish. I admire Dan Campbell's aggressive approach, but I thought he would have opted for the XP and take his chances in OT.

I'm not gonna pretend to know, but Ryan Clark just did a segment on SVP and said Detroit did everything correct on that play based on Decker reporting himself.

yeah I am far from knowledgeable about formations & their rules. I just know the thing I read mentions occupy an eligible position.
He was lined up in a natural tackle spot T, G, C.
If that is eligible, then the refs did fuck up by not announcing it.

Bottom line...they kicked the Lions ass..Im tired of people moving the goal posts when the Cowboys win. Anytime Philly or KC or SF win a close game, it's a "gutty win". With the Cowboys, if they don't win by 20, they played like ass, if they do win by 20, that team was a tin can. Winning is winning

It does need to be announced to alert the defense. Decker appeared to have reported, the official appeared to announce that someone reported, so Detroit was under the impression that it was Decker because he appeared too. The refs messed up IMO, but they do all the time, so it's nothing new.

They won and earned it. Kicked their ass is a pretty shitty take, however.

yeah if I am a lions fans I would be pissed.
but if any of these players telling their truth gets fined for answering the questions.
I think everyone should get pissed at that point. Or not allow people to question players anymore.

If they get to fined for telling the truth that would be pretty absurd, but it is the nfl.
