All it takes for the better team to lose is taking ones foot off the gas pedal. Even a little. It happens in sports all to frequently
All it takes to dismiss an ass-whipping at home is to spin a narrative that they weren't really trying.

It has been a wild season.
Chose SF over Ravens on a limb.
Quickly will run away from that.
NFL is changing.

Would love to see the underdogs in there to the end.

The Niners are the very type of team I root against due to all their success over the years. But I just really like the way they play, would love to see Kyle get a ring and how can you not root for Brock Purdy? But as the put a whooping on them recently you have to say Baltimore is the team to beat right now. But that could very well change What a great Super Bowl matchup that would be.

As long as the lights don't go out in the middle of the game, lol.

Welp…Kyle Shanahan shits the bed again in a big game. Place this alongside death and taxes as one of life’s certainties.

The biggest conundrum is, how did philthy let the goat of coaches get away? The same one who choked more than Kyle has until he acquired mahomes

You answered your own question. Way to think it through, Cletus.

That’s the point Funfags, shanny doesn’t have mahomes either
Because he doesn’t invest in QB. Reid always invested in QBs. McNabb was his first draft pick. Turned AJ Feely into a 2nd round draft pick through trade. Drafted Kevin Kolb early in the draft. Took on the rehabilitation of Mike Vick. Andy has spent a lifetime chasing that unicorn and in Mahomes he’s found it. Shanahan isn’t going to find that unicorn dumpster diving with the likes of Jimmy G and Mr. Irrelevant. He can’t develop a real skill set at QB. Instead, he takes the Little Engine That Could prospect and teaches him how to not lose them the football game through game management.

They were one play away from icing that game. Spags blitzing all the time and he doesn’t think to max protect. The Niners made a lot of mistakes but they had a chance to close that out with one playcall. I would say even two playcalls. Icing it in regulation and getting 6 instead of 3 in OT

On multiple pressure situations Purdy made the wrong decision pre snap and it cost him.
