Largely overrated player as illustrated by his 3 Pro Bowl appearances. Truth is he flourished his rookie year in Mike Shannahan's zone blocking scheme but has since struggled badly since Rat Face left for Washington.

According to Stats Inc., Clady -- the No. 12 overall pick in the 2008 draft -- has allowed 24.5 sacks in the past three seasons. Clady allowed just a half sack in his rookie season. Now he's out for the rest of 2013.

Not calling him Jason "Bust" Smith (another Big spread O LT) but he's surely been living off his rep earned his rookie year.

Clady was a MWC LT, but I agree he is overrated. I think a lot of those sacks came from Mcdaniels horrid game plan though. Bad or not, he was better then Clark and WAY better then Winston Justice.

Clady only gave up 1 (one, singular) sack in 1,100+ snaps last season.

Pretty much he's had two good years with good coaches, and two mediocre years under McDaniels...

Conference means nothing to me. Style of college offense does.( Jason Smith Baylor) Boise while pass happy ran many plays under center.
Most of sacks were under Mcdaniel's offense. Which the QB has a lot to do with. Backus sack numbers went down with Matty at the helm. Manning sure helps a guy there. Teblows dumbass trying to make a play happen and holding the ball for 7 seconds, you are bound to give up sacks.
