How much of a drop off in passing offense? Don't know, just have to wait and see, however the Packers receiving corps are down one very talented WR, so it seems logical to expect a drop off IMO.

Hmm ok well looking in the past that has not happened in the past 4 or 5 years Rodgers numbers are fairly consistent with over 4000 yards with 35 tds or more and 8 or less picks. It is just some years the ball is spread around more. Based on past experiences it appears the ball will be spread around more and not be like last year when it primarily went to 2 receivers. There wont be one person that will make up Nelson's yards but there wont be a drop off in Rodgers numbers either.

Maybe you are going on the assumption that he will hand off to Lacy instead and the Packers will be more of a run team? My guess is no they will do the same thing they have been doing.

But if it gives you hope that Rodgers numbers wont be as good more power to you :suds:

300 yards would have won if the special teams didnt choke 3 times

Maybe. 330 would have done it too. If the offense didn't stall on the 2 last drives when they just needed one first down.

Blame the STs, they deserve it. But so does the offense. Just like Seattle's defense for giving up 2 scores on the final drives of the SB.

In our own ineptitude Seattle allowed 5 TO's in the NFCCG, mostly in our territory IIRC.
I appreciate your answer but AR's combined #'s for game 1&3 are 45/73, 401 yds, 1TD, 2 INT's and a combined rating or roughly 69 (81.5 game 1-55.8 game 3).
Not impressive at all for a team of Green Bay's caliber.
Now, Crosby was 7 for 7 on FG's in those 2 games. Maybe you got his #'s confused with the offense's results?

When you have an improved defense that created 5 turnovers giving the team a short field much of the game it is not as easy to have long drives to get over 300 yards.

Hey he is spot on so far this year in camp he has not missed a field goal he is like 50 of 50 when the snap was held by his current holder our punter. He did miss 2 that were held by a different punter that was brought in for competition but was let go.

That's Good. He'll have a heavy workload wk 2. Last year the Pack averaged 3.3 tds against everyone else, 1.5 against Seattle. Now without their leading scorer (positional player of course)...

That is quite correct and it is not necessary to throw for big yardage in those situations. Seattle fans know this well and we win many games while only passing for a couple of hundred yards a game in most cases. However 61% completions, a little over 5 yard average per pass, and 1 TD/2INT's kinda, you know, stand out as a poor performance? Lacey only had a 3.5 ypc as well.
BTW, those #'s are the ones you are proud of.:noidea:

He's talking about 300 total yards.

Seattle wins games with 200 passing yards, but has 150-175 on the ground.
