For a 2 and a 5. Again, where were we?
Will be another mistake by this regime of not trading Payne. You will have to pay him or tag him next year which is dumb when you had the opportunity to get value in return now. If Ron & staff are retained another year it will likely end up in a comp pick for Payne which would be another failed move by this regime. We are no better than the teams tanking (BEARS) imo.Im curious to see the offers for Payne.

I saw that and while Claypool is a nice WR, Payne is a DT Killer! No way am I giving up a 2nd for Claypool when Payne is only worth a 2nd and is the better player at his position.i agree but maybe they are not getting any good offers for him. They have to take a 2nd round pick IMO. Maybe they are getting low ball offers. The Bears actually gave up a 2nd for Claypool

All RR cares about right this moment is weakening his defense by losing Payne. He is not thinking long term because well, quite frankly he has done so poorly while here there really is no long term. When you have someone as incompetent as RR running all things personnel, you will have to accept the bad business side of him and deal with the repercussions next year.IF we turn down a 2nd I would be pissed.
