France is only at 22 hit into DP, feels more like 50 at least. He does more than one every other game it feels like.

He's just terrible with runners on.

I’ve always wondered why we don’t try to attempt to steal more often when we have somebody on first base when he’s up. With second base open.

If they get a clutch hit in the 9th, there is no extra innings. 1st and 3rd with one out and France strikes out. That is actually a positive for him since he didn't hit into a double play. Then Julio taps back to pitcher with 2 outs and bases loaded. One clutch hit and game opens up. 14 LOB plus a DP that wiped out another runner.

They’ve been on a role so it’s hard to criticize them but Scott emptying the bench so early cost them not being able to pinch run for Ford. Oh well, they weren’t going to win out. I just hope Scott learns from this and figure the closer shit out cause Munoz and Brash aren’t closers yet

Of course, and ideal they sweep teams like the White Sox but that is why it was so important that they swept the Astros. They don’t have to be perfect against crappy teams.

And after Houston got beat down they are now tied with Seattle and the M's hold the tiebreaker with them. So they currently hold the second WC slot and are 1.5 games back for the division.
