If anyone does not realize he has complete control. What other organization will let him have that power and when things get rocky keep him around? He was the one who decided Gallette should be paid, he was the reason Brees waited so long to agree to a contract in 2012 because Brees could talk to Payton, who was suspended, until he signed one. Yeah Sean's the one who's made those FO moves, and made those DC hires and yet when stuff goes bad people want to blame everyone but him. And Payton will not be able to deal with the media in the bigger markets because you think it's bad now imagine what it would be like then? Payton is not the prototypical coach. He's not cut out for the big market. Payton is also offensively a great coach but he knows nothing about defense.
