Here is a positive thought. 2015 we won our division with injuries that can't be imagined. We have them again sitting on top by 10 games with a much better team imo. This time we are not dealing with TJ surgeries but nagging type concerns that will get our rotation back in the shorter time frame. Looking back I feel much better knowing what the club overcame last year and gives me a much better outlook going forward.

Rangers do not need to make a desperation move. If they can get a guy like Odorizzi or Pomeranz somewhat reasonably, then do it. But we don't have to make a move.

Yep. Plus, I think we can get some contributions from guys like Sadzeck too to bridge the gap without exposing him too much.

For now you are right but the key word is "expected". But for now I would think JD would wait and see how things wash out first. But if these trips to the DL continue then I could see a move being made.

A good point. A solid mid innings arm or two would be much more productive for the team. This way if they only get 5 innings from Chi Chi and/or Nick we have the arms to pick it up. Maybe Kyle Lohse is 'that' guy.

I am afraid Lohse will get his butt kicked and any relief pitching could be mop up duty. But I can see us calling him up because of experience only.

I think they're just being very cautious with Yu considering the lead they have. They want him healthy in the second half and for the playoffs, and they're making darn sure they don't do anything to jeopardize that at this point in the season. Especially with the all star break being so close.
