When we do have injuries this season, and we will, it looks like the Rams have some very capable backups to fill any void. This is especially true on Defense.

Cunningham looks like he's a keeper. I hope we see a lot of him this season. Pead should not be the number 2 guy.

Hoping to see a more explosive Offense starting with Game 1. The Defense should be able to hold their own. As usual, ultimate success falls on the shoulders of Bradford and company.

Special teams are looking pretty decent.

@chy1127, Bailey is a lock either at #4 or #5. He also played as a gunner on special teams and made a tackle. That sort of performance makes it difficult for a 6th WR to make the team come Week 1.

I don't think much changed with this game, especially on offense. We were locked into Bradford at QB, 4 RBs, 5 WRs, 2 TEs, 5 starters at OL, Jones at 6th OL. Best guess is that Clemens, McNeil, and Shelley Smith join them. I'm not convinced the 8th or 9th OL is with the team yet. Veltung gets the additional WR/TE/RB slot for now but may lose it to a waiver-wire signing after the 53 man roster cuts.

The defense is less clear cut. They'll likely go with those who have impressed in camp. Of the non-starters Hayes, Witherspoon, Armstrong, and Johnson are near certainties. Dunbar is suspended and won't count towards the 53.

There are about 16 players that are easy to cut. After that it's anyone's guess.

The Rams wouldn't have picked Jeffrey at #50. According to reports they wanted a
LB at #45 and both choices were there. They gambled on 1 being available at #50.
It was a gamble they lost. Picking Pead still made made no sense.

Of course you wouldn't pick Alshon if you pick Quick early in the 2nd. I am saying I would have rather had Alshon instead of Quick.

Sure it did, although Lamichael James probably would've been the guy that
most of us would've guessed at that point.

Picking Pead in the 2nd made NO sense. Get out!

On a game note, Ray Ray and Benny C looked awesome last night. I don't know why Cunningham isn't getting touches over the other RB's - he's bigger and seems quicker, along with hitting the hole hard. He's that 5'9 bowling ball we've needed for sometime.

Cunningham is getting a lot of love here, but remember he has yet to play against a 1st or 2nd team defense yet. Let's not proclaim him the starter just yet.

BC still has the best size and explosion you look for. Even Marshall Faulk was saying he needs to get more touches.

In Marshall I trust

We need a running back right now. Most analysts have us having a bottom 5 rush attack. Pead was also an excellent special teams prospect at a time when we needed anything on special teams. He made a ton of sense, although like I said, most people probably had James slightly ahead of him.

The Quick pick is the one that didn't make any sense, imo. I thought he was a round 3-4 prospect
