Houston put 7 runs on the board today without hitting a single HR. Nothing but singles, doubles, and sac flies.

What I wouldn’t give to see us put together even 4 runs that way. We struggle to string together 2 hits.

That’s very true, but you can’t sit there and take on 3-2 unless it’s not even remotely close to being a strike. Anything even kind of borderline that is probably a ball you need to foul off. That’s taught at even the youngest of levels. Anything close on 3-2, you swing. 3-2 dictates you protect the plate.
