May good for him to have a little time off. Duran and Jankowski can take his place in the meantime.
Watch them bring up Huff to sit on the bench.

Rangers web site is showing Heaney starting tomorrow in Oakland and Lorenzen starting Game 1 of the doubleheader. so who you got starting the May 7 game? and the second game of the doubleheader on the 8th?
Most likely Owen White and Jack Leiter.

they're saying he will miss 3 or 4 weeks, so they'll have to bring up someone to fill the 26-manroster spot. would guess either Huff or Harris

good choices although they might go with a bullpen game for the second game of the DH and use one of White or Leiter on the 7th. Bochy will of course keep us guessing

I would have no problem with that. They could DFA Ornelas.
Hill is a possibility but do you get that much more by DFAing Ornelas

Probably Huff. Fabian could be it. Has to be a RHB

If they add to the 40, they have to DFA someone. I would have no problem moving on from Ornelas.

Hey Saddles. Have you been keeping up with Shaun Anderson for Round Rock. Started 3 games and has a 2.12 ERA in 17 innings. He has struck out 18 and walked 4 and the average against him is just .197. I know we picked him up on waivers and he is 29 years old but the guy is 6'6" and maybe things have clicked with this guy.

Not sure if anyone has caught this but in their last 10 games Oakland is 8-2.

I don’t them to call up Huff, if all Bochy is going to have him sit on the bench every game.
how many games a week should Huff play then? he is a catcher, part-time 1B and DH. understand i agree if they bring him up, they could DFA Knizner (which is no big loss) but playing Huff at C and/or 1B means benching either Heim and/or Lowe for the games he plays and if he DH's that means Duran would sit.

i'm all for Huff but he isn't going to play more than maybe 2 or 3 times a week

Bochy wouldn't even play him twice a week. If Huff came up and Langford missed 4 weeks, Huff might play 3 times.
