Hopefully in this series we won't need Beltre but they always give us trouble. And a four game series away is hard to win.

Absolutely. Now is the time to lose him if we're going to do so.

It is nice to see that DeShields has his average up to about .300 and he hit a double and a HR today. The way injuries plague this team at times you never know when he might be needed. If anything it gets his trade value up a little as well.

With Choo coming back. Have to think like it or not Rua playing time is about to shrink. He is the best LF on team too. If we lose Prince at some point then Choo can DH. Not sure how much platooning Rua gets between LF and 1B. And Profar in the mix. Have to think Rua is going to be emergency CF. Roster spot is too valuable

They should rethink whatever it is that gives them that prediction. Numbers plugged into a formula are only as good as the theory behind the formula.

I think we hold onto him for depth. Nice to have a guy like him ready to go if Desmond were to get hurt.

You got that right.....We know they're cellar-dewellers, but right now if you told me we could go 2-2 against, and all I'd have to do push "this button"...........I'd push the button.

As much as I am rooting for Rua to succeed, if I were making out the lineup card in our immediate future, he's the odd man out.

Hate it for him. But what-the-hell. Gotta do what we have too.

With roster glut I think Belte is out for the 15 days minus those missed. Delay making the tough decisions is a few days. Still hoping for the best for Darvish. Heard Nick M is getting a lot of strikeouts recently. To me me Kyle L is a total longshot of a pitching option. We have IMO more 40 man pieces that will get eaten up if we have to open up a spot. Even Ike Davis became in demand and signed with Yanks
