Does anyone here have even the slightest idea what the current gameplan is with the bullpen?

Like, do we have a “closer”? Do we have a “setup man”? Does Bochy have a pecking order in mind? Does he trust some more than others? How is who pitches each night even decided?

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to who pitches and when, other than “hey, let’s try this” or “who is the least tired”.

Pretty much flip a coin because for the most part he can’t depend on anyone but maybe Stratton

From what they’re saying apparently Garcia seems have a right arm problem

Put him back on the IL and bring up Langford.

We need to keep every starting pitcher healthy and hope they can give us 5 or 6 every night. Maybe even 7 innings once or twice.

Stratton needs to be involved in every single game where we have a lead of 3 runs or less. He’s not perfect, but he’s the best we’ve got. And if he blows it one game, go right back to him the next time. And as bad/erratic as Chapman has been at times, he’s still a notch or two better than some of our other scrubs. He needs to be one of the 2 or 3 we “count on” (unfortunately).

Unless he has some type of injury, I cannot see why he doesn't have the job in ST. I feel better about him than I did Jung a couple springs ago.

Jung is back and a clear improvement over Smith. Heim seems to be finally putting everything back together. Carter is fantastic. If Seager can break out of his major slump and return to beast mode Seager, the offense should be fine now.

We just need the starting pitchers to go as deep into games as humanly possible to avoid the bullpen as much as we can.
