The ryan dempster trade might go down as his worst.

We got a pitcher who was worthless

The cubs got Kyle Hendricks and Christian Villanueva.

Hendricks has a career ERA of 2.95 and Villanueva has blown up this year. He’s hitting .321 with 8 homers and 19 rbi.

I hated the McCarthy trade and Adrian Gonzalez trade also. The Darvish trade isn’t looking good right now.


It’s been awhile since we’ve seen this front office make a great move that we’re all impressed with. We need to see that happen this July and hopefully several times over. I wish we could duplicate what the Yankees did at the deadline a few years ago. We have some enticing pieces.

Villanueva would've been out of our system by time he would've ever gotten a shot here, he only joined the Padres from the Cubs because he was a minor league free agent, which would've been his fate here as well

Reaching real hard on that one, especially for a guy thats never really hit much at the minor league level
