I am good with it but it will need to wait for desperate teams at the deadline and I really think it is a forgone conclusion. Just hope he stays healthy and pitches well.

Maybe Odor should spend s year in triple A learning how to take walks and lay off shitty pitches. Profar has been out performing Odor.

I gotta think that missing Beltre, DDJ, Elvis, and yes even Odor has been a large factor.

Under normal conditions yes but we were losing before those guys got hurt and they have not been gone very long. PITCHING is the real reason not to mention Rua and Robinson not performing as needed. Really, do you think Odor being out has hurt this team?

I agree. We are actually better off without Odor. I do think Profar and IKF combined have benefited us as much as losing Odor and Elvis combined has hurt us. Beltre going down was always going to be a part of the season. We all knew that going in. Even DeShields was going poorly when he was hurt.

Some injuries are a part of the game.

I think we are bad because we were bad as constructed. There is really nothing surprising going on with this team as far as record goes. After the first 10 games when we went 4-6, I mentioned that I expected a lot of 4-6 10 game stretches along the way. Some would be slightly better and some slightly worse. So far, after 30 games if you split those into 10 game stretches we have won 4, 3 and 4 games in those 10 game stretches. That is who we are and that is how this year's team was constructed in the offseason.

He is going to have to get his average up for that to happen. He is a better choice to play than Odor, but he is going to have to show that in an overwhelming fashion to change some stubborn minds in the organization.
