If this thing doesn't turn around very quickly, and in a big way, I may change my mind about what our trade deadline approach should be.

We just need to get better and learn how to wind the close ones get stronger mentally situational hitting even pitching finder pressure
Improve via trade, callups and better with who we have

But the way the Astros are playing in may have underestimated them

So definitely not a year to go all in especially with our current slump and RISP slide

One more bat and a closer and likely a SP is still needed . All for getting that if not too expensive

but that does not solve Lowe batting 3rd in the lineup

The difference between there and up with the Rangers is there he plays virtually every day and up with Rangers he might play once or twice a week. And if the Rangers added another bat and he wasn’t part of a trade his at-bats with the Rangers would go down to maybe 1 game a week

Our best players need to be out there and they are not Grossman and Garver. I am okay with them filling in from time to time but I cannot imagine too many teams sitting a 300 hitter in Duran for 2 games in a row and Taveras and Duran need to be out there just like Semien and Seager.
I believe we are still a good team needing a couple of pieces. It's a long season and I knew we eventually would hit a lull but I also think we also will see better days again.
And Houston is not the Houston of old. They are very beatable we just played like total garbage against them and there are a lot of head to head meetings with them.
