He averaged less than 4 innings per start last year coming back after 1 short season, 1 washout season and shoulder issues. If he keeps pitching in the same frequency all season as he has so far he should get in close to 100 innings, maybe next year they'll try and stretch him out again...

I think it will take a lot to change their mind. It might even take an injury to another starter. They really should find out how he fares as a starter. He might become a more than capable starter if they decide to change their mind about him.

Sandler stated Burke was not utilized in low leverage spots as opposed to Allard
It did not seem that way to me. I though Burke was getting more junk innings. It seems the thought was to protect Burkes arm, true or not
I am good with Barlow for now but bet Hernandez has more swing and miss stuff

Burke doesn't really need any protection after last year.
