Which makes zero sense bc he's pretty much a specialist and shouldn't be facing RHHs

Klein made more sense as a long man, which I thought was the purpose last night until he imploded, since he has starter's experience
Claudio has some starter experience as well. He has started 13 games in the minors including 9 last season.

I am not sure how they made that decision though.

Interesting numbers, at least to me

5 career leaders in dWAR since 1912
Bill Dahlen 1905-1911 (28.4)
Joe Tinker 1912-1973 (34.3)
Brooks Robinson 1974-1980 (38.8)
Mark Belanger 1981-1991 (39.4)
Ozzie Smith 1992- ? (43.4)

Current active dWAR leader.... Adrian Beltre (24.6)

Highest dWAR in a single season was 5.4 by Terry Turner in 1906, until Andrelton Simmons in 2013... also 5.4, but I'm guessing it was just a tick higher than Turner's

Last one... Hank Blalock was the single season leader in 2003 at 3.0 dWAR

All this according to Baseball-Reference

As a MLer he has no business facing more than 1 or 2 batters at a time, he's a LOOGY not a long man
