Tom, no matter how far the ball travels for a HR, it still is only one run. Therefore, Profar's was just as effective

Did most of you guys see the catch by DeShields last night? Either on live/replay? I'm still maveling at that one.

Oh yes. Quite a marvel yet some doubted him.

We may need a lead for Colon. Like to get five out of him. Ump calling everything tight

And Gallo hit one high out of the zone. Impressive

Sorry, although this one worked out well. It means more swings and misses in the long run for him. He needs to be swinging at strikes, and letting balls be exactly that IMO.

I'm talking about the one straight over his head and him crashing into the wall. Dead center, and terrific concentration.

True and maybe lucky but the more holes in his swing filled the better, bad swing or not

I must have missed it. Started watching at Profar homer.
Was it early in the game? I saw a good one he made on a sinking liner he took off the turf. Thought it was last night

The one to CF was a Mantle/Mays style.

And swinging at pitches 6 inches outta the zone is always gonna be a hole for damn near anyone. Much less a guy who has Gallo's hitting mentality at this point in his career. This is why he's hitting below the Mendoza line, and it doesn't seem to bother him a bit. Much to my sugrin.

And I missed the one you're talking about. ha ha ha

But yes, early on, directly over his head and it was a rocket. He caught it 1/2 step before he crashed into the wall. Knocked his hat off, and 'revealed' that funky hairdo he's got now. ha It took nothing away from the speed/concentration/catch though.

Nice. Yeah swinging outside the zone is generally not good. Guess he felt he was in the zone since last night homer.

Colon's gonna go maybe 4 2/3 the way he's flinging it tonight.
