How many times in history has a game had a shot fired and made within 3 seconds of the opening tip?
Has there ever been a game with a technical foul before opening tip?I don’t know about shots in general, but it was the fastest three pointer at least.

If so, then the technical foul would be shot first. I think they'd then forego the opening tip, and have the offensive team take it out of bounds? Then, if someone made a shot, maybe they could have made it in less than 3 seconds. Maybe less than one second.
Yes, but Karl Malone was FIRST.It says quick as points so that would presumably include technical foul shots, two pointers, three pointers, or free throws. It should only be a tie as far as quick as points, because Karl Malone scored it in three seconds as well, though that was a two pointer instead.
