Maybe you are considering playing 4 outfielders, but all 4 cannot be in the game at the same time, so it sounds like everyone is fine letting Soler or Schwarber sit and giving up their at bats so Fowler can hit .240 again trying to hit home runs and play everyday. Heyward should be playing every day, but taking half of the at bats away from Soler and Schwarber is nuts.

Nobody is saying Zobrist should sit, Zobrist should use his versatility and be the one that goes to left field, first base, and let Baez play where he plays best at second or third. That is what has made Zobrist so valuable, why he has been traded to playoff teams for what seems like every year over the past 4 years. Maddon finally got his guy to do that and everybody thinks he is staying at second base while we make another zobrist like maddon tried to do with coghlan.

The person saying to take bats away from Schwarber is you. I think Schwarby should play left every day if he keeps batting the way he did. last year.

Why bring up Fowlers home runs per at bat when he is supposed to be the leadoff hitter and just get on base?
What were Solers numbers when he came back at the end of the year and Mailee finally told him to put the lift back in his swing? You do realize he was forced to level his swing the entire first 5 months of the season right? You are talking Abreu and Stanton power and tools with Soler and seeing if the old Fowler not in a contract year underachieves like he had his entire career.

yes, but what happens yesterday, Schwarber goes out and they pull Bryant from third to go to left field. Then Soler pinch hits with a 4+ run lead and does not go to left field, Sczcur does.

Like I have been saying, Maddon has wanted Zobrist all of last year, tried to turn Coghlan into zobrist, now that he has Zobrist, he only plays second base and your ROY gets bounced around? They want to teach Baez to play the outfield so he can be the new Zobrist? What was the point of getting a 16 million dollar second baseman when all Zobrists value is in his versatility?
