Question about parking at a day game?

I have never been to a day game before.

When I usually go to the regular night games, I always park in those outer fenced $6. lots.

Are those open during day games?

I will be going this Wednesday with a friend from out of state.

ALSO: What is the usual attendance for a day game? I imagine it would be pretty empty?

Day games during the week are usually empty. There will maybe be 15-18k fans at those games. Personally I like parking my truck in the garage on Jefferson ST between 3rd & 4th street, entrance is off 3rd. It's a little more expensive, like $11 if I remember correctly, but I like knowing that my vehicle is in a well lit safe spot. Plus I usually go with my young nieces, so it's a very close walk.

You can use this site for parking & prices for specific games.

Edit: It looks like the $5 lot is open for that game on Jefferson between 1st & 2nd street.

My tickets say the Gates Open at 11:00AM for a 12:40 game. I have never gone early. If I go early, will there be batting practice or anything different to see?

Here is the schedule. It's been a while since I arrived early enough to watch batting practice, but it seems odd that BP would start before the gates would open. So I think the schedule is off a little & BP would likely start at 11:00 when the games open. Or because it's a day game, you might miss the Dbacks BP & just catch the Tigers BP.
