Game Thread: Preseason at Seattle

Only about 13 hours until we get out first look at what figures to be a very different team than the team we've seen the past three years. Although we've had some decent success since acquiring Manning, hopefully the new regime leads the team to even greater heights. Long way to go in this first season, but I'm looking forward to tonight's preview.

There was some discussion on this board about going after Collins when he went undrafted. I think that cdumler might have even started a thread about it.

The game tonight will feature a rookie who I was hopeful Denver might draft, but didn't: Seattle WR Tyler Lockett. I think he is likely to become a dynamic playmaker.

I understand Oz is starting this one. Lots of vets not playing. Almost like a week 4 preseason game. I'm fine with that. The less risk of injury the better.

I'm really interested in our first look at the O-line. I'm also going to be paying attention to who might be filling in for Wolfe the 1st 4 games and how our linebackers do. Teams are going to want to run up the middle on us and it will be interesting to see how our new 3-4 defense looks. Should be a sloppy game but Brock is certainly going to get his reps. Go Broncos!
