Most of us have been watching CFB for quite awhile. It seems to me, the Barn would be a 5 point favorite because they've beaten 2 ranked teams. Still they barely got by aTm and Oregon and we shouldn't count how many points scored on a mess of an opponent. That "quality win" against a basket case argument is just stupid.

UF's running game hasn't gotten going and that's why 2 points for Auburn seems a bit small. Still, the game is in the Swamp and Auburn is often quite stupid. So....:hope:...and ??

ESPN FPI’s early prediction for Auburn-Florida game

The Tigers’ impressive 56-23 win over Mississippi State has given Gus Malzahn’s squad a significant boost in the metrics. Heading into Week 5, the FPI was giving Florida a 53.1 percent chance to win. In the newest FPI rankings, Auburn is No. 7 while Florida is No. 12, a move upward of two spots for the Tigers while the Gators stayed the same after a 38-0 win over FCS Towson.

Auburn, Florida odds open with a tight line

No. 7 Auburn at No. 10 Florida opened as a pick 'em Sunday, according to VegasInsider.com. The line has since moved with Auburn as a 2-point favorite as of 1:25 p.m. CT Sunday.

Depends entirely on which Gus shows up.

Gators will be exposed, violently. By rights they shouldn't have beaten Miami in week one, only a cupcake schedule with two fcs schools has kept them undefeated. Tigers by 4 tds minimum.

So you're saying shutting out Towson isn't impressive?

I don't have an opinion on who wins this one, nor do I really care, but why is any win over
Mississippi State considered impressive?

Agreed. Still, winning by a miracle over a weak team tends to hurt...like Clemson. Piss State isn't a cupcake but they were just a mess yesterday. 50 points or 5 points is a win.

Seriously, they're not bad. They're on par with Nebraska or Michigan on a rough day.

I didn't want this to be a butthurt kinda' thread. It just seemed to me the spread would favor Auburn more....and thus I'd win more money.

Fla has yet to play a team with a pulse

Really? Maybe it's because I spend my work days separating financial decisions from accompanying emotions, but I'd be hesitant to make that wager.

Barely got by A&M? Come on man. They would've needed a miracle to win that game

One score game...a lot of stuff happened during that game which could've given them another score. And you know it!
