possible return of EA NCAA Football?

I am restraining myself from getting excited, but I heard out there on the internet that there is a chance that EA NCAA Football could return. I also heard EA Would like to continue the franchise.

Anyone know if there is any teeth to this? I would LOVE for the franchise to return this next summer. oh my....my video game experience has not been the same since this thing went under. I still play '14.

Anyway, I know there are a few on here who really like the game and franchise and miss it as much as I do, so I thought id let them know there is some hope...but not sure if it is coming back anytime soon.

I saw this the other day and got super excited!

I would be sooooooooooooooooooooo stoked if it came out this July...

I wonder, if it is already developed at least to the point where if rulings happened quickly and they could make the game, if they would be able to get it out by this next season.

I seriously have played NCAA 14 over and over. I would love to see this game on new gen consoles and with the playoffs.

Like if I coach at a garbage school and play much better teams, I should be able to upgrade facilities/stadiums etc to allow myself the ability to create a true dynasty. This would be awesome and I completely agree.

Like I've said before, I don't care if they make every single player generic 5'10 200 lbs with generic numbers that are not the same as real life player. If you want you can easily edit these things. But maybe it would help prevent "likeness" type legal issues.

That is what I was thinking too. Why not just make evrryone generic and let the fans create them.

I cant see why they don't bring it back if it is basically free 75k for the schools.

Not much money in the grand scheme of things, but literally 75k free cash. Cant see why they don't do it.

Maybe not but I believe I read somewhere it is the biggest licensing agreement for all schools in the NCAA.

But rumors all day that there is a commercial that is going to air tonight during the Bama/Clemson game. It stems from the fact that EA's NCAA Football page made a post about the title game which is odd seeing that it has been dormant for months. All afternoon its just been a back and forth of insiders saying something is up and EA saying "no".
