Fuck yea. Let's do it.
I'm sure there will be some level of revenue sharing.Doesn't that financially hurt the top 4 teams? The next 4 teams would get a home playoff game. I imagine that game would be a HUGE payday for the home team and give amazing access to their fans. (although I imagine they would have to split much of it though)

Haven’t seen if they will conduct like the NFL and reseed after “Play In” or “Wild Card” - Or keep it in a true bracket form.
always figured it would be 8, but this has some logic behind it. Certainly would eliminate the complaint of having meaningless games late as many feared with expansion. who would risk either having a bye or a home game with a loss late in season?sigh. 12 is too many.............. 4 to 12. brilliant.
8.....
It should be 8. I really wonder how the players feel about possibly playing 3 more games. CFB is kind of a grind for them, might see a surprising number of opt-outs from the draftworthy.I don't like it, but COVID changed everything, and these schools need to generate more money. So it makes sense.
At 12 teams, those that play in the first round that make it to the championship game - if that should happen - would have played 4 extra games! It should be 8. Yeah, that's too much. If you're a top-tier player, are you really going to risk playing an extra 4 games that may cost you millions? At 12 teams, those that play in the first round that make it to the championship game - if that should happen - would have played 4 extra games!
