BP comes thru.
Now cole needs to go into the 8th inning and show controlled power.
See if he can step into an ace role and mentality as we haven't had good outing by a starter in a while. We also gave up some unearned runs in some of the decent outings.

Save the BP and dominate in a hitters park against a team that is weak offensively.

Marte is having an abysmal game. I wonder if it's just the cold weather. I can't imagine he's used to it.

That strike three to Pedro wasn't even close. My goodness, that's a terrible call.

Similar bad strike call happened in the 1st inning as well. Or maybe it was the end of the previous game...:noidea:

There have been a few. One to Pedro at the end of last game, one to Snider in the first (on a pitch the same umpire called ball four to when Votto was up last inning, no less).

The others were at least close, though. This one was not.

That pitch Cole just threw for ball four to Bruce looked a lot closer than strike three to Pedro just last inning, and it was framed better.

Ah crap. That ball did not look like a home run off the bat to me. It looked like a single or a sac fly.

The first pitch to Ishikawa was well off the plate and called a strike. The strike three pitch was in the zone, though.

Walker can't take his time like that with a speedster. Field it and throw it.

Wilson didn't give up a single well hit ball, but he leaves with the bases loaded.

Walker was raking today, but also had two pretty routine plays in the field that he probably should have made that contributed to 4 Reds runs.
