Yep, I'm thinking were seeing a changing of the guard with Cincy falling to 4th best team in the division, and Milwaukee joining a top three. I don't think many people realize how big of a loss Choo was for Cincy. Along with injuries in the bullpen, and a few black holes (SS and the Bench).

even with choo they really struggled hitting and scoring runs.
not much chemistry in their lineup for the potential they seemed to have, at least on paper or superficially and playing in a hitter friendly park.

they do have some good young arms as well but not sure if they know how to really win games yet.
chapman does erase a bunch of mistakes with his heat.

we need to catch fire with 4 big series in a row before a rest.

Unreal game. Tough to evaluate Wandy off this game too, which sucks because as was mentioned before he has been questionable.

Yeah thats part of the reason I am glad he is out of the game. The way they are hitting tonight there is no positives Wandy could take from this game.

At least Bailey k'ed 9 batters and walked zero.

Agreed, get someone in there to roll some ground balls.

The second delay might actually save this game for the Pirates due to their bullpen is probably better than the Reds.

The review that gave Frazier that double really bothered me. No question it was a fair ball, but I don't think they should have awarded Frazier 2nd base. Really sucks too because if Frazier is given 1st, the grounder that Bruce hit right after would have been a inning ending DP instead of a two run homer for Ludwick.

How many more starts does Wandy get? He has been really bad to this point i feel Locke and/or Cumpton could fill his shoes. I'd give him 2 more starts and see what happens from there. He might not have pain left in his arm but at this point it doesn't look like he has any life left in it either.

It's tough in general to gauge a pitcher on starts in that ballpark...

I think it was the humidity more than anything, you could tell guys had nothing on the breaking ball, and the ball jumps in humid weather.
