I like all three pitching matchups in this series, and having our three best go against not-Bumgarner or this years version of Lincecum is a nice break against a very good team. The split in San Diego will be worth it if we can get 2/3 in San Fran.

Good win for the Bucs, overcoming their own miscues tonight.

Cole's two-seamer looks especially filthy this year, and it froze a lot of Giants hitters tonight.

Between that and setting up his slider better with the high four-seamer, he's been dominating every start. And his ERA is now at 1.90.

I'm so glad we has the first overall pick that year.

That Crawford home run was not a home run. There was a very clear angle showing it would have hit the wall if not for the interference. Even so, that the fans who were that close to interfering didn't get kicked out, after the Bucs fan last night got kicked out before the review is unacceptable.

Burnett with his second rough outing in a row. Nice to see them keeping the offense going and still in this game at 4-4.

BTW....McCutchen is up to .290/.378/.492 now, looks like the knee concerns are past him.

Especially after the fan was visibly shouting profanities at Marte. There are announcements before ballgames about not using profanity or you'll be escorted out. Enforce it.

Frankie looks good today, which is good, because so does Hudson, keeping the ball down and getting grounders the way he likes it.

No sooner do I say it than he gives up three straight hits (starting with a double by the pitcher) and allows the first run of the game.

Mercer has back-to-back games with home runs. That was a batting practice pitch from Hudson, and Mercer made him pay for his mistake.
