Yep, Vettel got in between Hamilton and Rosberg. This may be interesting.

I will take
HAM
ROS
VET

I think Sainz looks sharp and could be in for quite a finish, provided that Renault doesn't detonate.

Hamilton got behind early and just couldn't pull off the rebound. Nice call Indy.

A good day for Rosberg's title hopes: Now he only needs about 10 more!

Here's how we did:

IndyAndy: 10 points - got all three steps of the podium correct
Retroram52 & forty_three: 4 points each - got Hamilton & Rosberg switched around, picked Vettel for 3rd.
Hank Kingsley: 3 points got all top three finishers out of position

Season Totals so far:

IndyAndy: 40 points
Retroram52: 38 points
forty_three: 30 points
Hank Kingsley: 28 points

Next Up: Monaco, on May 24. :)

And Indy takes over the lead with that call. A crappy week-end for me in racing prognostication. There is always next week.

Gotta wonder when Hamilton is going to punch his strategist. Two tire calls that went wrong, two viscotires possibly lost.

He might have still finished this one second (probably couldn't have mounted a good defense against Rosberg on old tires) but he was ahead and could have made them last. No danger of falling to third, Vettel was 40 seconds back. Why not go for it? Even if he got to five laps left and the tires were completely gone, he could have still pitted and finished ahead of Vettel.

Methinks AMG wanted Rosberg to have this one.

I did like hearing Lewis ask (with 16 laps left), "Is it impossible? Can I catch him?"

The never say die spirit bubbled to the top.

Buit his team popped the bubbles....

Yea, this one had a tint of team manipulations. Lewis has a decent cushion in the points so instead of totally trashing Rosberg's confidence, perhaps AMG stepped in.
