After a couple of practices, Holy Cow Vettel takes P1, followed by Rosberg and Raikkonen. Hamilton is 5th!

Lewis didn't seem to be able to nail one.

I think they rushed him out because of threat of rain.

And that is one small track. Has a NASCAR bull ring feel to it. Barely over a minute a lap.

This track is a definite place for Ferrari to steal a win.

Maybe even 2 of 3 podium spots.

Lewis was faster on the prime tire though. The one they will run longer.

It was the shorter lifed option he had troubles on. And he was faster on the option tire until going off near the end of the lap.

There's almost no sense in trying to use logic to pick this one. Short lap,high speeds, traffic and likely gonna have rain for the race. Will be chaos. And the silver Arrows look unstable as hell. I expect Lewis to handle that better than Nico, but only just.

Frikin Rosberg does it again. I screwed the pooch. Its Rosberg, Hamilton, and Massa. Vettel is useless this year.

I was looking way better when Rosberg started crying about vibration near the end. I fully expected him to fold.

Still can't believe Massa actually held Vettel off. There were at least three times I thought Massa was dead in the water.

I have been having a terrible streak of bad calls and today was no exception. You got two of three Forty_Three.

I have to believe that this will be the Kimster's last season in F1: He just can't seem to do anything right anymore!

I wonder if Vettel would have had anything for the Mercedes duo if not for that bad pit stop.

Anyways; here's how we did:

IndyAndy: 6 points - picked Rosberg to win, got Hamilton out of position
forty_three: 5 points - picked Hamilton for 2nd & Massa for 3rd
Retroram52: 2 points - got Halition & Rosberg out of position
Hank Kingsley: 1 point - got Hamilton out of position

Damn safety car killed the only chance Lewis had. Had to get Rosberg early before he settled in.

And not only that Hank, I watched the race over again and Hamilton made several mistakes one of which added 5 seconds to his race time when he crossed the solid white line prematurely leaving pit road. Dumbass just was not in this race since Friday and Rosberg took advantage.

He had come out of the pits behind Rosberg anyway and the gap had gone from 2.xxx seconds to over 4. That 5 second penalty cost him for sure but at that point it was just staying more than 5 seconds ahead of Massa. The Benzs were too equal for him to do much more than that.

But he was very racy on the first lap, up until the KR/FA pile up. That was his only chance. The rest was just icing for Rosberg.

And somehow my recording had no audio. TSN fucked it up somehow and had no BBC audio feed. I tried unplugging my PVR, everything to reset it. To no avail.....
