I was thinking almost the same thing. It's remarkable that he even made a career being a pitcher. If the only information I had on him was "Caleb" I would have guessed school shooter, or best case scenario someone that invented some kind of Dungeons and Dragons phone app.

It’s amazing to me that Darin Ruf (who played with the Phils in September 2011 if I recall correctly) is playing for the Giants under Gabe Kapler in 2020. It’s like two totally incongruent eras of Phillies baseball. Almost as weird as looking into the future and seeing Domonic Brown playing for the Rockies under Pete Mackanin in 2026.

Also, I saw a couple of days ago that Erik Kratz is in the Yankees system but didn’t make their Opening Day roster.
