Morgan against Lester to start the series. All signs point to a Cubs win tonight. The 3-4 combo of Franco
and Joseph is helping the offense lately. The rest of the offense seems to be improving somewhat as well.
Although I don't think Asche is any more than a filler right now. Rup is starting to show a little power and
that is a good thing. GO Phillies!

Joseph has a four game hit streak. Hope he makes it 5 tonight. Then, he'll be benched for the .151 miracle guy. Odd thing is, old man LH Lester holds both R and L hitters to around .220, just like the next two RH pitchers in the series, Kendrick and real old man Lackey. Therefore, there's no advantage at all throwing Howard in there, although in my dismal state of mind right now, I'd like to see what he can do against one of them.

Lester beat the Phils 6-2 last month in Chicago and beat the Angels last start 6-1. Maybe the guy's due for a bad start. Maybe the Phils can duplicate last night's effort. Go Phillies!

With Morgan pitching we will need to score around 7 runs to have a chance. We really need a number 5 starter
