Every time we lose to a young unknown my hopes go into the can. I know the guy's a RHP but why sit both Ruiz and Byrd?

Yea, I thought Sandberg could have pulled Kendricks earlier instead of allowing the Cards to add another run but all of this is conjecture. Everybody on this team including coaches need to get sharper on several levels if we are going to contend for the top spot in the East which remains wide open.

Rupp and Asche are keepers. These guys are our future. Rupp has an arm and Asche just needs consistent playing time. Byrd needs to play more often as well and Revere needs to get his knee repaired.

Mayberry is steady and Jimmie is really coming on but Utley is fading. They could trade Utely for some younger pieces if they absolutely have to but all-in-all small steps of improvement as a TEAM are evident.
