For post #3000, I'll post some potentially good news. Crystal balls rolling in for Tyreke Smith after his UA game jersey presentation. Even the OSU sites/writers saying they now feel PSU has a commanding lead here. This kid can play and could give us some flexibility upfront...staff believes he could end up at DT....at Micah as an OLB/pass rushing DE and Oweh at DE and we have a scary, scary front on D for years to come

Are Smith, Parsons, and Oweh all takes now that Fields is off the board? Tell Walker and Enis thanks but no thanks?

They were all tkes with or without Fields. Enis is pretty much no thanks no matter what unless several flips happen. They'd love to squeeze Walker in, hopefully they can and get 2/3 of the DL

Guess now we can take him off the list. Got the news he isn't committed anymore. Damn.

I'm guessing the offer was pulled rather than him decomitting right? Sucks to lose a commit, especially someone like Hardy, who I was a fan of. I guess this just opens up another spot for someone else. Looks like we have a pretty solid lead for Parsons and Smith. Hopefully they can land Oweh too and offset the loss. Does this mean Walker has a spot again as well? And does he still have the same level of interest after potentially losing his spot?

Don't think he has a spot at OSU. He torched some bridges there. Wouldn't say its a zero percent chance, but its not likely. They already seem to have moved on, throwing offers out to more DE lately

Some thing tells me its hard for a 5 star player to burn a bridge so bad that they wouldn't hold a spot for him.

Not when they have players of similar caliber waiting to replace you in their class. i think urbs learned a valuable lesson taking too many 5 star type kids with off field issues at UF. You can withstand a couple, but he had a locker room full. He has the luxury of avoiding them for most part now and still getting historic level talent classes.

As of now, it looks like the biggest threat for Micah is going to be Oklahoma. His twitter account is pretty pro PSU right now though, so like LBU said, PSU is probably the favorite.

Nobody in his circle feels he'll go too far from home, which is why OSU was always our big threat

No affect, we are head to head with OSU on remaining targets and they got their dicks blown off last week. We still lead for Smith, Parsons and sounds like a slight edge for Oweh and Walker. We have Enis coming in for an official, think staff would love to take him if there's room. Fortunately kids don't get too hung up on a couple games, tehy see the big picture and see where this team is gloing with Franklin and the cumulative talent he's brought/is bringing in.

That would give us a very nasty defense for next 4yrs
