Sullivan's system seems to be catching on, they looked really good the past couple games. Skid has been producing, maybe there's hope after all

Some bad breaks last night. For not scoring a goal they looked better than they have in recent memory.

You know, I wonder if the league should consider making it illegal for non-goalies to jump into the goal-mouth. Taking it to its extreme, you could just have one stand back there and fill up about two feet of the net and make it basically impossible to beat the goalie in the other four. That right now would be legal, and that's absurd.

I know it's kind of reactionary coming off of last night's game, but it's kind of silly that a defenseman can throw his whole body into where his goalie is supposed to be. Blocking a shot there with his stick, though, is just impressive and should be allowed still.

I would disagree with making a rule change, a dman sitting in the crease is just as likely to get in the goalie's way as he is of making the save. Also, a dman doesn't wear the proper equipment to act as a 2nd goalie the entire game.

Simple solution to everything is to make the nets bigger. This would essentially solve all the problems we're seeing with scoring today, plus goalies could wear oversized equipment for protection & it won't be so easy to clog up the goalmouth with dmen.

With the Pens shooting pct as a team, I think removing the goalie still wouldn't help! They seem to be the only team that consistently misses the net or shoots directly into a defender...so frustrating.
