Monday, February 15th @ Florida Panthers

Thursday, February 18th vs Detroit Red Wings

Saturday, February 20th vs Tampa Bay Lightning

Sunday, February 21st @ Buffalo Sabres

Tough schedule, 4 games, 3 against playoff caliber teams, will be a good test for the Pens.

I thought Phil had ended the game twice, once in overtime when Montoya made an excellent left pad save on him (just got enough of that puck), and again when he hit the post in the shootout.

Having that would-be Crosby goal waved off because the ref lost sight of the puck didn't help, either.

Kessel has been a disappointment

Great game from the Penguins. Two goals from Kessel and scoring from the blue line and the bottom six, plus stellar goaltending from Fleury. Fast-paced entertaining game to watch, too. And Crosby, even though he only had the empty netter and an assist (only), was dominant all night. He beat three or four Wings at a time by himself with some regularity, including right before setting up Kessel's first goal.

Bishop was just great as usual.

All in all, another solid week for the Penguins. They could really use Geno again, though. And I'd love to see Bonino or Cullen between Sheary and Wilson to see what those two can really do.
