Side note Rob Scuderi's return to Pittsburgh: 160 games, 1 Goal
Trevor Daley: 2 games, 1 goal.

I hope with Daley here now the Warsohsky playing time will end when Letang is back. Yeah he might shoot but he is showing that he is a minor league replacement filler.

Warsovsky should be sent down and Pouliot should be back up at this point. Really don't understand what their plan with Pouliot is.

Also, Trevor Daly should be running the point on the #1 pp, end of story.

Yeah Daley to be was the bright spot last game and no reason he shouldn't be out there on the top PP unit.

With Sprong sent back to juniors and Wilson up. I hope he can stay healthy this time, his one game he looked good.

k, I was wrong about Sullivan, season is over. What pick do you guys think we'll get in the draft & who does everyone want? Let's just hope Rutherford doesn't trade away a first rounder again.

The team has been playing better, they're just pressing on their chances. You can tell they're frustrated and pressing. They're generating, but they're gripping the sticks too tightly to finish. It's especially obvious with Kessel.

This is a player issue, not coaching. Johnston's wasn't using them to their full ability, but Sullivan hasn't loosed up the reins, and they still can't score.

Sid, Malkin, Kessel, Perron, Hornqvist, and Letang are all having terrible years, and it's on them to figure it out. Only so much a coach can do.

As for the season, it's either a stand pat, or a sell off at the deadline. If GMJR trades future assets away he's lost his mind.

This feels like the Caps down year when Dale Hunter was the coach.

Malkin isn't having a terrible year. And yes, it's a player issue...not a coaching one.

Fine below average for Malkin, he's 28th in scoring, and 28th in points per game, he's been in the top 5-10ish for points per game since he's been in the league.

Malkins top 10 in goals...can't help it if no one else scores on the pens!

Malkin & MAF are the only 2 good things about the Pens right now IMO, without those 2 we would be worse than the Oilers & Blue Jackets.
