Rest in peace, Golden Boy. Only player to win the Heisman from a losing team (Notre Dame--1956 (2-8)). My father was a Packers fan. We lost him in June. In addition, we've lost a handful of legendary Packers within the last couple of years....Jim Taylor (83), Forrest Gregg (85), Bart Starr (85), Willie Wood (83), Herb Adderley (81), Willie Davis (85), and Paul Hornung (84).

My father worked on those. At the time he said he couldn't imagine anything better, Little did we know how fast engineers were coming out with new aircraft.

I ran into Hornung, literally ran into him, at the resaurant in the Tundra Lodge years ago. I turned a corner and there he was. Nice guy.
