No Sunday Night or Monday Night games
Week 14 Bye

Bullshit Schedule

Im looking at it right now. We could start off 2-0. A week 14 bye could be good if we are in a playoff race. Plus, the last two games are at home. I thought we would have gotten a Monday night game b/c of last year's big win on Monday night. We travel to the Rams coming off the bye. So the players should be well rested.

Right now, the Arizona Cardinals, the Atlanta Falcons, the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts have no games scheduled at night in primetime. Makes sense.

Why does it make sense. The Houston Texans will be starting the number 2 pick in the draft…the Colts may be starting the number 4 pick in the draft. We will be starting a fifth round, second year player, with a single start. While I am high on Howell and still think he will be the best QB in the 2022 draft, I can understand why others may question him as a viable starter.

b/c i believe those teams will be the top 4 in the draft next year. Anything can happen but that is probably why the league did it. Who was talking about Howell?

How they are believed to finish next season has no bearing on prime time games.

The audience they can bring in does. There is no excitement behind Howell nationally. There is excitement behind Stroud and Richardson.

For the record, Arizona will totally tank this season. It is almost guaranteed.

I think the NFL thinks that these 4 teams will not be competitive, so they weren't given any primetime games. No argument about Arizona.

Again you miss the point. It is always about money and hype. It is not about competition.

of course, it's about competition. That is why the NFL said that everyone is NOT getting a primetime game this year. They changed the rules to get more competitive games on primetime. They even admitted that. lol. wow. You are missing the point. More competitive games bring better ratings.

Plus it's the whole point of games getting flexed into primetime during the middle to end of the year. THe NFL wants better competitive games.

They changed the rules for money. I will guarantee those are not the four bottom teams in this upcoming season.

They flex games later in the season because teams are out of the playoffs and fan babies have stopped watching.

Sunday afternoon football brings in over 23 million viewers. Sunday Night brings in 7.5.

we never know who the 4 worst teams will be. As of right now the NFL can only guess and this is what they came up with. Of course, Sunday afternoon brings in more b/c there are more games on hence more viewers. The flex games later in the season are to get bad teams out of prime time. This is exactly what the nfl is doing this year.

Same viewers…can only watch one game at a time in the first and one game at time in the second. Even if you evenly split them, that is 11.5 million viewers per time slot.

You flex teams later in the season to get more viewers because teams are out of the hunt. It is the only reason to flex…to make money.

Sure to make money and televise a more competitive game. Im not disputing money, The whole reason why the NFL changed the schedule this year was to get bad teams out of primetime and make more money. If you don't want to believe this that is fine. As of right now the NFL thinks those 4 teams will not be good this year.

It is to make more money. A more competitive game is a byproduct of more money. If the NFL thought putting the 0-16 Cowboys on against the 1-15 NYG would bring in more money, that is the game they would flex.

So, if the Cowboys were projected in the NFL’s eyes to be the worst team in football, you think they would have no primetime games, knowing they still being in viewers?

NO way in hell the NFL would flex and 0-16 vs and 1-15 teams into the last week of the season. That is just crazy.

Yes, if projected to be the WORST team in football they would have no primetime games b/c America is not going to want to watch the worst team in football on primetime. They wouldn't deserve to be on primetime.

If they thought it would bring in better ratings and more money, they absolutely would. The odds are it would not bring in better ratings than every other possibility, but if they bought it would, they would flex it.

Feels like an 8-9/7-10 schedule.

Will re-evaluate things after preseason.

All things perfect.......defense is top three, 2020 Chase shows up, and Howell proves to be a huge steal.....10-7.

IF the defense is top 3 and Howell is a legit NFL QB that should equal playoffs.
